Who is Daniel Escobar?
Daniel Escobar was born in El Salvador and spent his earliest years immersed in the warmth of his Latino and Lebanese roots. At six, he journeyed to the United States with his family and grew up in Texas, where books and words became his refuge and words, his first form of expression. Fiction, short stories, and poetry shaped the lens through which he saw the world.
In 2020, he released his debut poetry collection From the Ashes, followed by Where the Glass Meets the Sun in 2023—both reflections of a soul always seeking beauty, even in the burn of transformation.
Today, Daniel calls San Antonio home, where he co-owns a yoga studio with his husband. Together, they fill their lives with movement, meaning, laughter, travel, good food, chosen family, and their delightfully chaotic pets. At the heart of it all, Daniel lives by one quiet, powerful truth: to treat life as a living, breathing work of art—imperfect, honest, and always evolving..
Daniel moves through life with an open heart, insatiable curiosity, a playful sense of humor, and a go-with-the-flow spirit. He’s a certified Reiki Master, Buti Instructor, and RYT-200 hour yoga teacher, with a past rooted in business management and a present rooted in healing and creative expression.
As a poet and published writer, Daniel uses words to make sense of the world and to inspire others to do the same. Whether on the mat, through energy work, or on paper, his passion lies in helping people heal, grow, and remember the magic that already lives within and around them.
